A Walk Through Nature, is a dynamic look at the natural world through the eyes of a poet. Marta Moran Bishop's, and Saket Suryesh, bring to the page brilliant and emotionally, charged verses in this expanded collection. This book would grace any table and is sure to become a valuable asset to any collection.
‘A Walk Though Nature’ is a coffee table poetry
book by Marta Moran Bishop and Saket Suryesh. It has a collection of thirty
poems, of which twenty six are by Marta and the rest four are by Saket.
The poetries by Marta are lucid and lyrical. She
uses nature as her background to bring forward universal emotion like hope,
grief, loneliness, love and growth. The poetries are so lyrical at times that
it feels like a song, which is definitely a pleasure. The description of nature
in all its colors is done very vividly; the reader can actually picture it.
Some lines are just so beautiful that it stays with one. In the poem, ‘Finding
the light’ she writes poignantly, “It is then we will meet again/When the time
is ripe for us/ With luck lessons are learnt/And we meet again without hurt. In
most of the poems she has very sharply used hope as her analogy, which
definitely stays with the reader.
