Wee Three: A Mother's Love in Verse

Wee Three, covers seventy years of memories dating back to my grandmother, Helen Springer Moran, some of the verses began with her short poems. My mother Patricia Moran who I spent twenty years as her caretaker, listening to her memories of her childhood which I put to verse and my own childhood memories. Many of the verses are short stories, which happen to be in verse and others are poems. They are written from the literal aspect of a childs mind. For instance Upside-Down Land was written from my memory of learning that the world was round and the people in China lived on the opposite side of where I was. I remember thinking that if I dug all the way through the earth I would get to China and there find the people would be upside down. It is a book that brings back the simplicity and joy of youth and the lessons learned as we grow.
