Andy...her brother is well educated in the world of criminal activity as he has been well instructed in the art of theft by his/their father. Vince...is a private investigator with a hidden agenda in search of the murderer of his cousin Ethan.
Mia and Vince cross paths and are immediately attracted to each other but Mia is reluctant to mix business with pleasure as they seek to work together in this easy-to-read, enjoyable, mystery/romance novel. When the mob gets involved, Mia's life is in danger and Vince is quick to become her knight in shining armor.
Diamonds and Lies is my first exposure to talented Author Inge-Lise Goss and I am impressed with her well-written novel and down to earth style of writing. Good, clean fun is always appreciated in the books that I read!
