She promptly ignores his orders and sets out to solve the case, which quickly spirals out of her control as she ends up on the perpetrators’ hit list. Will Gwynn be able to maintain her cover—or risk everything to crack the case?

I listened to an Audible version of this book gifted to me from Story Origin. The narrator had her work cut out for her. There were so many characters. She had several different voices, but not enough for everyone. Still, she brought a lot to the feel of this story. Very easy to listen to and understand.
Because of the numerous characters, and some of them had alias'; I wondered if I wouldn't have been just as happy to be reading and have visual names.
